Fantasy Premier League 2010/11

Hi all,

Very early I know, but hopefully that'll help generate plenty of interest. If you haven't done it before, this is the official Premier League fantasy game and it's completely free to play along:

I haven't bothered adding a head-to-head league this year as I don't think many bothered last time...

I know very little about football, so i picked players based on first if i had heard of them and second on money left!

ps, who the hell is eduardo? it appears he is in my team!

My tips would be look for goalies from good, but not great sides (they'll get to make a lot of saves, but still won't concede too many) and attacking fullbacks. You need at least 1 or 2 of the really big point scorers too, like Lampard or Rooney who can be your regular captain and rack up the huge scores every week. Watch out for teams playing twice in a gameweek as well and use you transfers wisely.

The 'value' filter is useful too!

I have joined. Poor performance from me as regards posting and generally contributing to this fine forum, which I hope to address, as I get so much out of it. Maybe joining the league will spur me on a bit

By the way, I won my work league last season... there, I've really sealed my fate now

I'm in, and I'm expecting big things from my team, Athletico Pathetico. Just to note, I came bottom in the Walsall FC fantasy league last season, so anything above that will do me grand
