So my shimano rear wheel has finally given up on me... after a few spoke replacements and over a year of bashing the london potholes and perhaps me eating too many pies, it has died....
any recomendations for a good fixed rear wheel? heard the dt ones are good, looking to spend around £100 i guess?
fyi, I am 90 kgs and it is only for commuting, currently ride a ss/fg dolan fxe

the same thing happened to my back wheel in march ish after the manchester potholes finally did for my back wheel
I got one built from a local shop - if you get something like a brick lane bikes hub or a system-ex (sp?) one on an open sport rim, go for 36hole with single butted (or plain gague) spokes this would be a pretty tough wheel to handle daily commuting duties. should come in under the £100 mark depending on build cost for london prices. Harry Rowland is reputed to be the man down that way ?"I get paid to make other people suffer on my wheel, how good is that"

+1 Excellent wheels, seen me through 2 winters now with no problems at all.
