If being the word.
3 already have to media outlets, so it's pretty safe to expect when being questioned by a federal agent where you could go to jail for refusing to answer or lying, people might be quite forthcoming
But yes, if.
It's moving a bit quicker than expected but will probably still take some time.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Landis having a hissy fit or not. Does that mean that the rest of them should get away with it. Taking public money and using it for drugs, not to mention the prize money that they "stole" from clean riders (allegedly)0

Maybe we should have a Novitzky watch.
I heard he got up early this morning and has had a hearty breakfast. The net is closing in.Le Blaireau (1)0 -
Anyway, the subpeona is to Trek for documentation.

Never? What about the cortisone?
Well, obviously there was the cortisone0 -
So if USPS/Disco was using organised doping, why is nobody asking the question of other Disco alumini: Contador, Basso (pre road to Damascus) etc? Or will this investigation widen to include them also? It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0

Would the US feds have jurisdiction over Spanish and Italian based riders?
And isn't the investigation into USPS, rather than Disco?0 -
not familiar with the US legal system. What does this actually mean in that context. This case seems to be moving quicker than BALCO but not sure if that is a good or bad sign so far.0

Disco was owned by the American based Tailwind Sports, the Armstrong owned company that owned the USPS team.
Just wondering if riders from that team would be asked about the practices of the doctors and DS of the team (being a continuation of the USPS team) and what that would flush out. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
Over on Cyclingnews -- Armstrong is denying he owned it. He was just a rider.0

Hard evidence not hearsay is required to make any of this to stick to anyone.
But lets be clear, testimony by humans is considered hard evidence. If a couple of people back up what Landis said, it's hard evidence.
Don't forget, that even so called, hard evidence must be believed by the people who are picked to pass judgement. All the evidence in the world, be it good or bad or soft or hard or true or false, won't get you convicted unless it's believed. No, I'm not being a fan boy.
Just pointing out a fact.
And remember, none of this is up to any of us.0
