Hi all.

I don't suppose anyone apart from myself are having trouble contacting Superstar Components?

I sent a Wheelset to them last Tuesday (6th July), for replacement Rims. They said it would be a 2 day turnaround once they had the Wheelset and would contact me for payment. Now, I ain't heard anything from them and despite numerous emails and phone calls from me with messages left on the answer phone, I've just had no response whatsoever.

So, has anyone got any correspondence from them in the past week or so?

    I was speaking to them in person about 2 days ago at Bikeradar Live.

    Sorry though, your wheelset never came up in conversation :wink:

    What time have you been trying to call? During business hours?

    Also, I know they have a rep on these forums. Might be worth searching the menbers list and dropping them a PM.

    Yeah, been ringing various times throughout the day. I'll look to give them a PM, see if that does anything.

    They maged yo send out a new disk rotor and adaptor to me on monday; just keep phoning in office hours.

  • Hello sorry for slow responses to the phone on our busy days, it never seems to stop ringing some days! Because we are in high season, have a big backlog of custom wheelbuilds and we have a staff member off (plus we were at BRL) some phonecalls get missed and we apologise.

    We concentrate on getting orders out and processing returns/warranty quickly, rather than answering questions on the phone. We find that this gets the jobs people are phoning up to ask about done faster. If you would like to place an order it is much quicker and easier to use our online shop as this is automated and gets priority for processing and despatch.

    We apologise for any delays, but we have never experienced such demand and our new staff take a while to train up to speed (as we expect them to know everything!)

    Good to see a reply from the company here.

    Have to say I've never had any problems in the past, including experience of returns/replacements.

    I bought an excellent set of wheels off Superstar a couple of weeks ago. Really quick delivery and well packaged.

    Good news about the high demand at the moment, well deserved.
