Barry George- he was convicted and later acquitted of the crime. do you reckon he was guilty and only got off on a technicality?

Serbian Terrorists - re her reporting of attrocities over there?

Alan Farthing - her then partner ( I believe)

On a "smelled it, dealt it" tip, I think it was spen. He certainly fits the psychological profile, and perhaps he feels that his greatest triumph has been consigned to history, hence this thread.

In the eyes of the law you are as guilty , if not more so than him of this crime.

He could only be charged again with this offence with the approval of the courts, whereas police could simply arrest and charge you!!!!


The change to the double jeopardy rule allowing retrials requires the court to approve the re charging of someone acquitted.



Oh and on a point of order. He was found not guilty. He conviction was quashed and a formal not guilty verdict entered.


I think what you mean was he was not said to be innocent. There again, no verdict of innocent exisats in English criminal law, its GUILTY or NOT GUILTY only
