Upgrading a Trek 1.2

Hi Guys
New to the road bike, got myself a Trek 1.2 a couple of months ago and love it.
I now have a major problem.... I've been hit hard by the cycling bug, and need to spend more money on my Trek . So do a buy better brakes, Chainset?(currently have a double, but fancy a triple), do I upgrade all components to Tiagra from mainly Sora and FSA, or do I upgrade 'bit by bit' to 105.
Do I keep the bike as it is and get a trainer?
What do cyclists upgrade first on their bike.
Thanks

It's a great bike for the money
Wheels, makes the biggest difference. My g/f's 1.2 was transformed with Planet-X model B wheels @ £99, and better tyres and tubes. Saved nearly a kilo, and the new wheels accelerate brilliantly.
I have since upgraded her shifters to 9 speed Ultegra (£30 second-hand from the classifieds section) and a 9 speed cassette (SRAM, about £25 new), but if yours is a 2010 model it should already be 9 speed. The chainset and brakes are fine (unless you want to change to triple), little to be gained from changing them, though brakes benefit from Koolstop pads.
Replacing an entire groupsets just to upgrade a cheap bike makes little sense, the parts prices will be almost as much as the original bike, and gains are limited. Also, the resale value will not reflect your upgrade expenditure. I suggest you run it into the ground and replace other bits (other than wheels and maybe shifters - I would prefer not to have Sora) only when they wear out, whilst saving up for your next bike, which will be considerably more expensive0
