Hey everyone
I'm going to Paris for the final weekend of the tour this year and was hoping for some advice from anyone who has done it before. I spose I'm wondering where a good place to watch from is and how early do I need to get there? Also, what is the city like on the saturday, are places like the museums still open?
Any other advice anyone has would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

The last time I was in Paris pour Le tour I stood on La Rue de Rivoli just as they came round the corner from the tunnel. Lance confused me by wearing grey shorts for the ride into Paris. Can't comment about museums on saturday but if you do visit any, get there early if possible. I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower before I hit the Champs Ellysee(sp) but the queue for the lift was far too long so I walked the stairs to the second, Restaurant, level at 10:30 am.
I was lucky on La Rue de Rivoli as it was a wet day and the crowds weren't too bad where I was stood. If it's sunny then get to the barriers early.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
