sweating question

is it true that the constant dripping of sweat onto the bikes frame will eventually damage the paintwork ?.

    I guess it could be corrosive if left and was quite a bit. I tend to wipe the sweat and spilt water/drink off after each ride anyway, but dont sweat that badly.

    Not paintwork no. It can affect the metal bits - but I'd just wipe the bike down. I'm not aware of dripping onto my bike really when out - but turbo sessions are different. I use a fan to help and wipe too.
