Trails near Toronto
Hi Guys
I have recently moved to Toronto for 3 months and looking to do some trail work around the area?
Has anyone got any experience of the area / can give me any pointers?
Many Thanks

I have been to Hardwood Hills near Barrie. Not a bad place, bit samey, but enough tracks to keep you going for a good few hours.
I also remember seeing trails around Collingwood. Can't vouch for how good / bad they are.0 -

I used to live in Milton, which is about 30 minutes west of Toronto. There's some decent biking in a couple of the conservation areas near Milton. The conservation areas charge admission but it's pretty inexpensive (about $6).
Kelso: on the Niagara Escarpment. Some pretty fun trails. Fast, flowy, some technical bits but as I recall, you can run out of terrain after a few hours.

Hilton Falls: also on the Escarpment. Bigger trail system but flatter. I used to ride a lot in here but also in the adjoining woods to the north and west of the conservation area.

Also, you can use Garmin Connect to find mtb routes in your area. At least, routes that other people have recorded with their Garmin devices. That's not saying the routes are any good - it's just a starting point.

Have fun!
