Controversial...

I know this subject is almost as provocative as LA, but regardless of colour, why on earth do cyclists wear those above ankle socks, why not tennis socks? Don't they have stupid enough tan lines elsewhere on their bodies?

This was the final question I meant to ask the other day...

I think they're compression socks and assist recovery. What they do and whether they work, I don't know

They like the look off it? Possibly ankle socks would be a bit uncomfortable as you cant pull them up if they slip down. I wouldn't know though, I would never go out in ankle socks, that's for MTBers...

*Allegedly* so we can't see the injection marks on the ankles.

That makes no sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't drug users inject between their toes?

I had an injection between my toes when I had my ingrowing toenails done. The pain of the injection is something quite special, I can't imagine anybody would do it voluntarily, but then you never know.

That's also why they wear shorts.

I had an injection into the tip of my nose once. Not nice.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.
