a shoe change will be your best bet.

What shoes are you currently wearing?
And whats your budget?0 -
Those look pretty grippy (similar to a Gussett Slim Jim). What's your budget?0

we used to race DH on the same patten pedals and there is a shed full of grip with 5:10s
yes there are longer pin kits but I dont think they are needed."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

As Nick said, 5.10's will be the best thing you could buy, those pedals grip plenty0
-
Shimano AM40 shoes are worth a look too (although I have 5-10s with those same pedals).0

The best!
I use the Sam Hill Impacts (same basic design with different tongue design as the Imapact 2's)0 -
Get some 5.10s on some Kona Wah Wah pedals.0

5-10 Sam Hills plus Wellgo MG-1's work superbly for me."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Those pedals look fine.
Outroodsy shoes/boots are usually a terrible combination with flat pedals.
If you don't fancy the 5:10s (which are said to be amazing) then Vans waffle tread skate shoes also grip like glue to flat pedals.0 -

Just as good and lighter.
You could just get you shoes resoled with stealth rubber, then you get five ten grip on a shoe that you like.0 -
I've just started riding DMR V12s with shimano AM40s... They seem to be made for eachother, I'm chuffed to bits with how grippy they are.0

Good luck!After uphill there's downhill0 -
I have no idea at all why anyone is recommending new pedals :? they're not the problem, the shoes just have the wrong shape of soles. 5 10s are alright, Shimano AM40s are better but even just changing to a cheap pair of Vans or similiar is going to sort your problem. And if it doesn't then throwing money at it won't, but improving your footwork willUncompromising extremist0

ok kids i bought some five tens, and used them today they are fricking awesome cheers for all your help!!! whooooo....
riding in the wet and my feet just stuck0 -
I know some people have recommended Karrimors on here. I don't know if they are the same type as you had, but I couldn't ride in them. The soles are way too tough and the studs of the pedals don't sink in at all. That's in the dry...in the wet you completely lose all friction.
Anyway, at least you got it sorted. It makes a huge improvement to have your feet stuck to the pedals.0
