Do you insure your bike if so how? Is it insured as a named item on your home insurance? Do any of you have your bike insured by a specialist company? Either was are you insured incase you should lose control and crash? I have just purchased a Madone 5.9 and have never worried about crashing, but this bike is worth more than my car and would like to know if I can have it insured whilst I have fun on it.
Cheers

Bikeguard will insure for a premium that equates to around 10% of the retail value per annum.
My bikes are insured through my M &S home contents insurance up to an individual value of £4000 with no excess but doesn't include accidental/crash damage.
