For the last eight days this race has been going on.
Pooley is in a good position but most likely too far back for the overall. She was leading the mountains competition but after Abbot's win today she is now tied on points.
The stages are pretty short but have looked quite exciting from the videos. It makes a nice change to watch something other than all the male riders who I am familar with.
Stage 5 had a great finishing climb near Lake Orta, stage 7 includes the Ghisallo, stage 8 includes Passo Berninia and tomorrow's stage includes the mighty Stelvio. The race finishes on Sunday.

Stage 8 (yes that really is 30km climb at 5% average to start the day!)
Stage 7 (Muro di Sormano, 2 km at a minimum of 5%, an average of 17% and a maximum of 25%)
Stage 5 (three laps around the Lake, with the final climb of 1km at 10%)

I love the way that on Stage 5, Pooley bridges to the lead group and attacks immediately. Abbot looks pretty cool climbing. Note how Vos sucks wheels all the way then comes round at 100m and takes the win.Contador is the Greatest0

No love for the ladies....
Yesterday's Queen stage lived up to expectations. Boy can Abbot climb and Pooley did very well.
