I thought Cummings was a Scouser but as he didn't join in I thought I'd better check and turns out he's from the Wirral so that explains it. How comes everyone is laughing about this? Imahine the uproar had a certain Manxman been involved.

That is still not acceptable. If you've ever been to the SqWirral you'll know that they know how to handle themselves, and it is surprising that this opportunity for a scrap passed Mr Cummings by.

Indeed, I once heard someone call someone else a 'Bounder and a Cad' at Hoylake Golf Club. The police were called and it was all sorted quite quickly thankfully. It turns out the victim only had 3 buttons on the cuffs of his sports blazer rather than the regulation 4. Consequently the victim was banned from the golf club. Terrifying scenes.

A bounder is a 'rotter'. Hope that clears that up.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

The moral of this thread is don't get into a fight wearing cleats.

No self respecting Scouser would join in. They'd be looking for a opportunity to nick the wheel.

Check eBay for a 2nd hand Merckx with a missing front wheel.
