...the management team at Caisse d'Epargne are a little bit wistful about allowing Valverde to continue riding for so long as it would have appeared to have affected their search for a new sponsor;

    The state of the Spanish economy won't help much but if I had a few million to drop on a sports sponsorship deal, I'd steer well clear of a team who thought using part of the budget for legal appeals to the CAS.
