Did my first 60 mile ride for charity yesterday. I now know I could do 100 so this is my next target. Got two bloody punctures and learnt a valuable lesson......when replacing the inner tube, check the goddamn tyre. There was a thorn in it and had to do the whole thing again. Three tubes to get home. Arrgh :x

  • Cheers everyone. Yes it is addictive, I'm 53 now so want to get the 100 miler in before the zimmer frame gets me. I have a sneaky feeling that I will try the London to Paris some time, oh what a challenge that is ,but once in a lifetime opportunity as well. They say you don't regret what you did as much as what you didn't do. Life is not a rehearsal is it?

    Cheers :D
