Basingstoke to Petersfield (train back) Sunday
If anyone fancies a ride out from Cliddesden to Petersfield (95% off road) about 48 miles this Sunday let me know.
From Cliddesden, via old Basingstoke to Alton railway though Ellisfield, Candover ox trail to Abbotstone, then thru Itchen Abbas to pick up the South Downs Way at Temple Valley. Then follow the SDW to Petersfield.
Will take best part of 7 hours, 5.5 riding then 1.5 on train from Petersfield back to Basingstoke.
