This frame and fork used to be the basis of my every day ride. The frame is a weird alloy cruiser frame from the far east with rear hanger and other modernish touches. The forks are old school Marzzochi Bomber Lights. Light? HA!

The plan is to do a Hot Rod Clunker. Strip and polish the frame and forks then build it up with a mix of modern gear and old school clunker bars and such. I want red rims and white wall tyres. A Brooks saddle more than likely and plenty of red and blue anodising on connectors etc for that Hot Rod engine look.

The geometry of the frame is strangely good for cross country. And light.

Wickes paint stripper and some serious polishing needed.

One day this will be reunited with the ESP 9.0 mech that was on it for years. It's on my Giant now, still going strong after god knows how many years.

I'm really quite looking forward to dicking around with this. :D
Happy trails.

    ooh, I like the yellow.

Old mechs are ace. My dad still has a Sachs composite mech on his, I think they stopped making them over 5 years ago, but this bad boy's been in service for about, erm, 15 years?
