    opps found some 30T

select MTB and then drivetrain. but it is for use with a Bigger ring.

then keep it in the crud catcher.

    Ben what are you thinking/planing?
would not a 28T on the granny be better?

your easiest option is (you know it) a bigger rear cog.

  • hmm...... true!

As soon as i manage to smash the rear wheel its all getting changed at the rear which is why I was looking at the front lol... think i'm minus 2 spokes atm, and the hub is knackered!

Need to find another 2nd hand halo rear wheel too!

Hard to find them 2nd hand as single wheels :(

Why not just sell the saints, buy some other cranks and fit a granny ring, or get some 3pc bmx style cranks? I'm on 36t front and 16t rear on my mongoose i think, seems to work pretty well for me.

The Extralite Octaramps are decent rings, you have to file your spider down to fit them though, I used to do that, but realised you could get better ratios and a better chainline by using the inner/middle ring positions for a 2x9! I did once lose a chainring bolt, then tore the whole chainring apart, which was slightly worrying.

They do do some nice kit though, their Ultrahubs are very nice indeed!

Agree with Nick that a larger sprocket is probably a more sensible way to go!
