Fulcrum 3's or Shimano RS80 ???

They seem to be a similar price, for general training with hills and occasional TT's would one be a better ownership proposition than the other?

  • No experience of Fulcrum 3s. Just got myself some RS80s to replace my Aksiums. Very impressed: light (1532 g), stiff but comfortable; spin well. I've raced on them. No flexing when pushing hard - no brake rub (I'm 68kg). They are an alloy rim with a carbon laminate bonded on to the rim. The braking surface is alloy.
