2nd hand bib - boss or gross?

My wife and I have different ideas of cleanliness. I am by no means some dirt monger who lives like a pig but I do have a firm belief that washing something can make it clean!

An example being that I bought a bib that was £60 retail and I got it for £6! I believe that if it's washed then there's no major issue with it but she's totally grossed out by the whole thing.

What are people's thoughts on this, am I stig of the dump or a bargain hunter?

    I bought some second hand bibs....it had a holein the front and back....I didnt know whether I was coming or going :D:D

    The only second hand bib shorts I wear are what I bought brand new.

    Have to agree - I couldn't wear someone else's underwear.

    I tried to sell some used nappies on Ebay once (the ones made of towelling that you wash at 90 degrees, not Pampers :D ) and the listing got pulled because it is against their policy to sell used nappies and underwear. It is strange that there is no such restriction on buying used swimsuits or bibs tho.

    maybe a bit of bleech and a steam cleaner might get them totally clean physically......but can you ever really clean out the mental image of someone else having them on?

    there is a thriving market in 2nd hand nappies, just not on ebay. PM me for details (this is not a joke)
