Anyone riding this on 10th July ?
I'm riding the 100 miler as it's nearby. Think there were concerns over low number of entries a while back, but hopefully there is a decent enough good crowd as it's a bunch start at 9 which will be cool.

Obviously only me that rode this on this forum, but a great event, not sure why it was so little attended.
To all concerned who might be thinking of doing this next year , do it. Great route with top quality climbs, good signing, nice friendly people riding, bunch start out of Abergavenny which is very cool - what is not to like ?
I'll be entering next year , hope a few more join in, great day on the bike.0 -
Hi Pants, yep I did it. 3rd time I've done it and thought this was the best route so far.
We found the end of the 1st 50 heading back to Aber pretty tough with all the constant ups & downs, the Tumble was as tough as ever but then really enjoyed the 2nd 50 miles over llangynider and past Llangorse to Talgarth.
We were dissapointed to find that the feed at the top of the Tumble had run out of water but we topped up at the Texaco garage just over the other side in Blaenavon so were ok.0 -
Yep, agree about the course lumpy 1st 50 , followed by a few proper climbs on the 2nd 50, great route, credit to the organisers for that.
Not so good to hear about running out of water at a drink station, thankfully it wasn't as hot as it could have been but not ideal either way.
Have to say I thought they might run out of electrolyte or water on the Tumble feed station. I was desperate as I had really bad cramp and got plenty of everything but stocks were looking low at the time, wondered what the riders behind were going to get after a few more came through.0
