Jumping gears....

Ok, simply put, new chain, new gears front and rear, everything indexed nicely, but I'm still getting some slight jumping on the chain, particularly when I apply power on for some reason the 14T of my 12-25T 10 speed, when I am on the inner 34T ring of the double. I apply the power on take off and it just seems to jump forwards, not a lot but enough to be disconcerting.
Any suggestions from anyone as to why...?
I also feel when I'm riding and simply pedalling on the flat a slight clicking feeling through the pedals as I crank away, but it doesn't seem to be regular or anything. Same thing just not as noticeable?
Thanks in advance!

A bit of stiffness where the chain was joined, perhaps? O ir might be as simple as letting the new chain and cassette have a bit of time to bed themselves in?0
