been thinking (i know leave it to the professionals)

i have all my mp3's etc backed up on my pc at home and i have a selection on my iPhone.

Was wondering if there was away to take a "back-up" or copy the files on my iphone and putting them on my work PC. The work PC not having anything stored on it other than the iTunes application.

is this feasible. I am guessing not?

You're guessing correct, iTunes will only let you sync with one library.

What you can do is copy the iTunes library, and move that to your work PC. Then on your work PC, just point it in the direction of the library you've just put onto it, and bob's-your-aunties-sister-who-had-'the change'-that-nobody-talks-about-anymore, it's moved.

True, but I assumed he wanted to keep the library at home as well.

    yeah i did.

I know i could easily put my itunes library on a remote HDD and just move it between PC's just wasn't sure if i could just copy the material onto a "blank" pc i.e work one

    C'est la vie

Just copy the library onto a HDD or DVD or something, then move that to the work place, same thing really.

You can do it with iPhone Explorer but you will find the iPhone has changed the names of all your mp3 files so you won't know what they are unless you read the tags.

I have 4 Macs and one PC and I can Synch my iPods and iPhone with any of them
There is a work around, however you'll need to know how to use a Hex Editor which isn't too hard.
I found one of the better walk through guide's here
It's fairly simple but if you feel you don't have the ability/skills to undertake this task, I am sure you must know at least one techie / geek type person who can do this for you
