Get a coil shock and it will ride much better ;)

No it wont, RP23 is the perfect shock for the bike. Mine is faultless.
    Advocate of disc brakes.

Well its only had two rides in anger but certainly cant complain about the RP23 so far. Has been very comfy since riding my Scandal for last few months.

Never had a coil shock so cant compare.

Been there with air shocks on the Heckler (Had one in 04 and currently have an 08 ). Air shock work well for general XC riding but for when things get really gnarly or there are any drops/jumps air shocks on the Heckler just don't work that well. A coil shock really does transform the Heckler into a much better bike.

But if an air shock works for your riding then great. Can't fault a Heckler in any guise. :D
