Right ive got a felt q620 (2007) model i believe, it has hayes mechanical discs fitted with some sort of adaptor attached to the fork/caliper , ive bought some rock shox dart 3's, will this be a straight forward swap or will i need new adaptors or rotors??
Forgive me, its my first time doing serious work on a bike, wanted to save some money and teach myself kinda!!
Cheers

It depends if your new forks are IS mount or post mount
Either way there will be an adapter you can fit, althought it might mean upgrading the discs0 -
The Darts are Post Mount.
If your old fork is post mount it'd be a straight swap, if they are IS mount then you'd just need to unscrew the adapter bracket from the caliper.
If you compare the two fork legs it should be obvious what you need to do.0 -
Some older Darts are IS though.0
