Myself and a mate are doing the st bees - robin hoods bay c2c next week and although we have the route planned out we don't have the maps (yet) the obvious option is to buy the various OS maps but there are about 10 of them needed...

Is there any free or cheaper alternatives that could for example be printed off from the web? Or am I going to have to buy o load of maps that i probably wont use again...

Cheers

Oh and any extra c2c advice would be appreciated :)

You can now view OS maps at:

    www.bing.com/maps

At the top left hand corner of the on-screen map Clickroad and a drop down box will appear

Myself and a couple of mates did it at the end of May this year. Looking back loved every minute of it, though it is very hard work....

Make sure you take clothes for all seasons. The first and last days were sunshine, but the 2nd and 3rd days were very wet in parts. We had the advantage of using Sherpavan Company for transferring our luggage from one place to the next.

For the maps, we ended up purchasing a Garmin.

Just remember there will be plenty of this....

You can get a map which has all the bits of the OS that cover the C2C in 2 maps. Should do you fine.
