any one retro fitted them to a Boardman Hybrid?

    Most hybrids with MTB standard rear dropout width (135m) can be retrofitted BUT you generally need a chain tensioner.
    You dont get the clean chainline and are stuck with a pulley system.
    The Alfine disk is standard MTB fitting (centrelock)

    Some manufacturers sell Alfine bikes like this, best avoided in favour of a sliding dropout, horizontal dropout or eccentric bottom bracket.
