Base in Essex near Lakeside shopping centre. Since getting my new road shoes, Scott Road Limited, I can't seem to get comfortable, especially with my right foot. It just ssems not right, or maybe I am over analysing it.

Can anyone help with any suggestions, or places I could go. Thanks!
BMC GF01
Quintana Roo Cd01
Project High End Hack
Cannondale Synapse SL (gone)

For one thing it could be the shoe and not the pedal. Just not fitting your foot right, maybe?? There really isn't a whole lot of analysing you can do with the pedal and cleat itself. Start by somewhat loosely mounting the cleat so that the pedal axle is directly under the ball of your foot when you clip in. Next you need to tighten the cleat up a bit more, sit on the bike, clip in, point your toes slightly out, pedal the bike and make sure that the shoe and / or your ankles don't hit the crank arm, although they will come close. I believe that most people are more comfortable with their toes pointing "slightly" away from the bike, which in turn causes your ankles to come fairly close to the cranks.
Other than moving the cleat so the ball of your foot is a bit in front of the pedal axle or a bit behind it and being sure your ankles clear the crank arms, there is not much else to do.

I live in that part of Essex, and I don't think there's anywhere around there that would do what you want.

Have you tried riding with trainers on to see how your feet lie naturally?
