Carbon fiber forks re-finishing - HELP?

I've bought a nice 'Dale alloy frameset, which is in a horrid colour scheme. Stripping the aluminium frame is easy, and it will get painted again no problems, maybe powder coat.

But, anybody have any tips for stripping paint off the carbon forks, and what to use for clear coating? If the carbon weave is any good I'll leave it as is, and just gloss finish them.
