i am looking for some digs in morzine for a friday and a saturday night can anyone help.
i am after cheap as chips

You up for some camping? I've camped at "Le Ferme" i think it was called, in Les Gets. Cheap, and has proper showers and toilets - oh and the baker comes round every morning with fresh bread.

ye i think i would is it far from the lifts
i would prefer a cheap BB i think

It's not far from the lifts, you ride down the road switchbacks right into Les Gets, and if you take the Mont Chery (If I remember rightly) cable car you can ride back along the mountain to the campsite. It's the Les Gets lift OPPOSITE the one that takes you towards Morzine.
Oh, and you can ride along the road from Les Gets to Morzine in about 10 minutes easily.

Most b&b's will likely want you to book for a week - you could try the tourist office though - they might have something - or try http://www.resa-morzine.com/ which seems to be mainly hotels if you want short stay.

Camping is definitely going to be your cheap as chips option though really - there's another site at the bottom of the valley in Morzine too, but I've not stayed there so can't really vouch for it.

i'm driving down with the bus from my sig, will be parking under the stars to camp down for free, and riding all day. Three weeks and counting!!
