A great blog about a non racing amateur riding each stage a few days ahead of the pros. He did the prologue stage in 33mins, only twenty something minutes behind the pros

    I'm confused.. I still not understand blogs and whatever theyare all about - just about synched up with forums...

    but this guy did 7 miles in 36 minutes and he professes to be a coach, with a specialism in power?
    I dont get it.
    Sorry if I got this all about face.
    ( Sour grapes I suppose, I just wish I was able to p off for weeks doing me own thing)

    I think he's riding very conservatively. I know Quentin and he can ride pretty quickly when he wants to.
    More problems but still living....

    er...to be fair he had to ride on the opposite side of the road with normal traffic conditions and all that entails. Also he's definitiley not riding it competitively

    Sorry - I read the title and thought that Malcolm Elliott had a late call-up.

    He's more than capable of mixing it throughout the whole tour.
