    ive been given the ok to get one for next summer (well it wasnt greeted with what do you want another bike for when i said i will get one lol) , prob not this spec but a madone at least :)

    id be happy with any madone although i showed gf the 4.7 today as its the same colour scheme as my current trek and said look the colours are the same so most my cycling tops, gloves, shoes etc will match (im weird like this) and she replied with, its the same as your other bike :shock:

    although in my lbs they have the one lance road in the tour last year, i really want to ask for a test ride but not sure theyll let me

    I've often wondered... Is it pronounced Mad One, or Ma-doh-n? I'm assuming the former?

    This is perfect - Buy a new Madone and as long as the gf doesn't see your two bikes together she'll be none the wiser. It's as good as getting permission!
