    Because, the hills you need that low a gearing on, are NOT hills you could walk up at 6mph.
    Have you even tried riding off road? You're obsessing over things that just do not matter to the vast, VAST majority of mountain bikers.

    Also have you tried dragging a bike up a 40% slope at 4mph? No chance.
    the lowest gear would be 22F/23R or 0.96, this is pretty much as low a gear as ANY bike needs

    Rubbish, for the above the reasons.

    What exactly do you want? If you want your dream drivetrain, crack a cassette and modify it. Not quite sure why you keep asking questions you already seem to know the answers to....
