A 4 episode spin-off of Shane Meadows' This is England is to be aired in September. It's set in 1986 & features the same characters as the film.

There's a 3min trailer on The Guardian website.

    nice one, gonna check that out. Is meadows directing?

    Great film, seen if a couple of times, brilliant soundtrack too.

    Great news about the spin-of thanks ... can't see the trailer on guardian site though.

    google "This is England 86 trailer"...that's how I found it, the Guardian site is a bit of a maze. There's some stuff on Channel4's site too.

    It was all filmed in Sheffield apparently. I'm really looking forward to it. I lime what Shane does, Romeo Brass was on TV the other week. That's what started me digging around to see what would be released next.
