This is my first 'proper' post other than using the small ads.

I've just started back on bikes after a couple of years concentrating on running. I bought myself a Trek Pilot 1.0 triple off the BR classifieds and a Bianchi Mutt 7700 from my local small ads to use on the trails.

I'm finding that it's making a real change from running, which although great, I was getting a bit stale with.

I'm working on my endurance but did about 3hrs off road last Sunday and 3hrs on road yesterday. It's tough, especially in this weather, but I am really enjoying it. I'm also seeing my upper body and torso getting stronger, which is something running doesn't really help with.

I've also resurrected my old British Eagle touring bike to commute to work on. It's 20 odd years old but blimey is that 531st comfy.

So in a nutshell, it's all good and this forum is toptastic.
