help tubless tyres

hi iam looking for some help iam trying to fit stan no tubes but cant get the tyre to inflat before i add the sealent. ive been watching the no tubes video but ive had no joy. iam fitting maxxis aspen on to roval rims. thanks

    Use CO2 or a compressor, normal pumps normally dont inflate fast enough to form a seal.

    I never inflate first? I fit the tyre, pour stans then inflate.

    How loose is the tyre? If it's loose you may need another turn of tape, I use a couple of my Rovals. Agree you don't need/often won't be able to inflate the tyre without sealant, but a compressor certainly isn't necessary, just makes things a bit easier.

    Go around the tyre pulling the bead towards the outside of the rim too.
