For some reason, my Rock Shox Tora 302 Coil got rust pitting at the back of the tubes
I took it back to Evans under warranty and they whipped the forks off and sent them away to the manufacturer.

Imagine my surprise today when I went to pick up my P&J to find that they had replaced the forks with Rock Shox Tora SL / Coil, inc remote poploc lockout thingy and gave me a Rock Shox fork pump as well

Unless that's not an upgrade of course!

The SL Coil is the cheapest of the Tora range, still not a bad fork though, has all of the features that my Tora 318 Solo air (06) has except for the air spring of course

Just a quick observation; they sent you a Coil fork and a shock pump? :shock:

That's what I though,

here's a shock pump that you don't need, aren't we helpful!

Hmm - Problem is that I don't know what they gave me! It says Rock Shox & Tora & SL

But it also has a thingy at the top that says "AIR" and when you unscrew, it will accept the shock pump nozzle to allow it to be pumped up. As per pic



So what have I actually got?
