Sherburn.
Classed as Leeds but under Selby council :P on the outskirts0 -
You need to head towardsTadcaster, good riding around Stutton, Lotherton, Aberford, Garforth (fly line), Temple Newsam etc etc.
Would be happy to meet up and show you routes sometime. How much distance/time do you normally do? I'm up for anything from about 10 miles to as much as you like :P
PS I'm at Methley and regularly go close to Sherburn on rides (also go through Sherburn on road bike when riding to my mums in the Yorks wolds).

I've gone to lotherton that was quite a nice ride and the closest to tadcater i have been is through sherburn and church fenton and through Ulleskelf and then back to sherburn which was nice and only another two miles to tad. My Uncle and I are planning to go on the off road track from york to selby and back which is 28 miles should be fun
Take a look at my bike http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12711662
I think i am the only person in Sherburn with one0 -
Nice bike.
If you go from Sherburn towards Lotherton take the right turn towards Saxton and then take the bridleway across fields to the crooked billet pub then straight across road, over stile onto BW for a couple of miles, then at junction with another BW turn right, when you reach road turn right again back to crooked billet pub and retrace your route back home. Should be a nice starter for you.0 -
