Did we ever find out which amateur was souped up?
It seems to have gone quiet or did I miss it? :?

I did  - there is enough info on the Cyclingnews Forum (in the Clinic) to work the name out. I'd also heard the name through the local rumour mill (he was localish - certainly knew the name if not the person in question)
Still no official statements released that I'm aware of - I wonder if it will be quietly slipped out when nobody is watching. Say during the Tour.0 -
Think I worked it out even not knowing the rider or that area. That was the reason the various threads got pulled - too much information and apparently no official confirmation of a positive so best not push it for now!0

Well its all out in the open now & what a stupid thing to do indeed.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

I disagree. The below is a photo of Allison Stokke, an amateur sportsperson who is not a drug cheat, and someone who should be held up as an example to Dan Staite of what can be achieved without resorting to doping.
Lets hope this lesson is heeded. For more lessons like this one, image google "Allison Stokke".0 -

Balls to you too mate - was only answering posts on this forum and dont think that anything I have said is wrong, but if people dont want my input then feel free to ignore disagree with what I write. After all this is a forum "a situation or meeting in which people can talk about a problem or matter especially of public interest"
Then again I take it your not going to be happy with me replying to this as it adds to my post count?Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
Hardly news though is it? It was announced months ago!0

BC did release a statement about Dan Staite, if that's who you're referring to.

Also other news outlets covered it (google finds a few including BR and cyclingnews).
There were rumours about other people but they were never named, is that what you meant?0 -

If you look you will see Bronzie wrote that on 1st July long before BC released the name on 29th July. This is an old thread.0 -
Ah yes my bad  didn't look at the date. I did wonder why you guys were giving Danlikesbikes a hard time! Now I get it.0
