I am very much liking the higher stance and riding position.. feels a bit more capable + less boring than at 130mm!

Means I can run a better amount of sag so the fork feels a whole lot plusher than before :)

bIoody took you long enough

So, you all set for Cannock next Friday then? I'm bringing the cakes :D
  • Only took me 20mins in the end, it was taking the forks off the bike that was the biggest pita!

I have already booked the day off matey!
Hopefully should be a bit fitter this time... been riding a fair bit recently :)

Off to Whinlatter on Saturday to try the new travel... hopefully i'll enjoy the downs a tad more :D

and you'll probably love the extra travel when and if you really need it and hate it when you don't. I can just imagine you wheelieing up some kick arse steep climb getting a whole new skill set :P

I do see why you were not enjoying it so much before now. I had no idea that you were running at 130mm before. I'll bet it's a completely different beast now.

It'll be harder going up though. Still, you seem to be like me in the sense you endure the uphill to enjoy the downhill.

Aye should be fine! With the ower front end I was forced to sit down to go uphill which I HATE so hopefully i'll be able to stand a bit more!

Felt good after a little ride around the block, soooo much easier and controlled in the air!
