thank god ipods just have a scale that scrolls across without numbers. I once bought a car radio that went up in 2's (on the even numbers!) - problem solved!
Haha glad I'm not the only one, was about to post the same thing...truly bizarre compulsion, but can't help it. Any volume control...car, MP3 player, TV, CD player...anything that uses numbers. And +1 on the coathangers as well...can't be a good sign.
Can't think of anything cycling-related, apart from the fact that if I only use one pannier it has to be on the left hand side...otherwise I'm what people would call a 'casual' cyclist if that.
Ooh, ooh, just thought...if I stop it has to be my left foot I put down, don't know whether that's just a natural preference but it has led in the past to me falling off at traffic lights when the bike leaned to the right (due to road slope I think) and I still tried to put my left foot down...the thought 'this doesn't seem right' did pass through my head but I seemed unable to act on it. Very embarrassing, especially as it was raining, I fell straight into a puddle in front of a long queue of traffic. It may seem there's light at the end of the tunnel, but it's actually an oncoming train.0 -

I feel the same way in the pub having a pint, only ever leave on an even number, to do otherwise will upset the elves who oversee such things, and they will smite you with their elfin magic whilst you sleep, unless you can return to the pub and regain the balance, however this will involve going out with the deliberate intention to imbibe an uneven number of pints and therefore totally against years of training0
