Kielder water trails - which one?
off camping with the girlfriend for a few days in Northumbaland and have some how got a pass out for a few hours for me and my bike!
thinking of trying one of the trails at keilder, but as only got time to do one trail, which one should it be? had a quick scout on the web and the the choices seem to be lonesome pine, bloody bush or the deadwater trail.
which is the best?

Definitely the Deadwater - the climb on the Lonesome Pine and Bloody Bush (common to both) is a real slog for only an OK descent.
If you're up for it, peel off the Deadwater on the way down and do the black (up and over) - a real tough climb (never cleaned it), some tricky skinnies and an excellent descent.
As it's not too long a trail you could miss out the climb to the top of the hill (fire road grind followed by fast stony track down) and go round some of it again.0
