Who do you want to win? (NOT who you think will win but who you WANT to win)

(I would have added more riders but it wouldn't let me)

Not on your list, but Gesink. Not going to happen (for a few years, maybe), but I like him as a rider.

Either Gesink or Andy Schleck would be nice. Bring on the new generation.

I've joined the Wiggins fan boys sorry, it would just be nice to see a Brit * win.

    * Yes, I know someone will argue he's not a Brit but he's won Olympic gold for Britain and that's good enough for me

Yeah, I tried to add Gesink but the forum software told me I had too many options.

I would like Fränk to win it. I don't think it's impossible, but highly unlikely.

My 2nd choice would maybe be Basso.

Gesink, Basso, a Frenchie would be good for the sport.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

like a few others - I reckon, I voted before I read WANT.

So you can already say your poll is flawed!

Voted for Evans as I'd love to see him win a major tour (he deserves it), but I guess I'd prefer it if Wiggins won. Plenty of votes for him though..

It says at THREE different points (including the subject) "who do you want". So you sure it's the poll that's flawed? ;)

Surprised I wasn't the only one who voted for my choice!

the poll is not flawed, but the result now is as I have botched mine up!
    I'm flawed too!

A Frenchman, preferably Christophe Moreau. Not very realistic I know, but there's also Le Mevel as outsider.
Or less likely, Casar or Kern or Vogondy. But please not Voeckler, let him just have a few stage wins.

From the offered options (although I didn't vote for him, as I prefer the Moreau wishful-thinking), I'd take Kreuziger - to please his dad.

I disliked all his tour victories, was a self confessed Ulrich fanboy but ........

seeing him at the presentation last night for the last time I felt a bit sad that a huge part of tour history will soon be that. History

So for me I would like to see Lance go out on a high & win it!
  • Would love Wiggo to win - but it will never happen sad to say. Andy would be great even gesink. AC will win and i do not mind that either really.

You should have put 'someone else' which is who I would have chosen!
