Turbo Training for MTBing

Hi there,
I have just been given a turbo trainer and have set up my old hard tail on it. I was wondering if anyone uses one and what exercises they do on it. I'm especially interested in training for power to increase climbing speed but any info appreciated.

To increase climbing speed do longish intervals at high resistance, with no fan or ventilation.
Generally I steal my housemates when i cannot be bothered to sort out all my gear for a ride as you can turbo in padded shorts and nothing else. Long UT2 stuff is okay if tedious. TBH the turbo isn't hugely suited to mtbing because it's as much about technique as fitness, and you need both of them.0
