I have a 105mm stem on my bike, it feels pretty comftable to ride, however when i ride on the drops I can see my front hub in front of me. Now i always thought that you were not supposed to see your front hub the stem was right.

Now do i need a longer stem if so how do i know what size to get? My saddle is in the correct position with the measurements taken at a bike fit I had done (not at a bike shop though).

    If it's comfy, why change?

You could always have your neck shortened!

The front hub alignment with the bars is a very general rule, a lot depending on the proportions of the rider and their flexibility. Unless you are experiencing lumbar pain or tension in the neck and shoulders, I wouldn't worry about it.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
