    does the prologue mean anything time wise or is it just to decide jerseys? did last years time count?

    It's a time trial so yes, it does count.

    It's a nice way to sort out who is in yellow, especially when there are no time bonusses.

    It's a small enough course that the differences will be a few seconds, not minutes.

    Unless you fall off of course...

    It will be the usual farce like we witnessed in the giro - traffic islands un-manned,taking a 180 odd bunch down lanes not wide enough for some cars, Yes racing in Holland is bad for your health.

    Probably more to do wit the Giro than the fact it was Holland...
