Enduro Fork Seals

My Totem's started to leak oil up the stanchions, the stock seals are notorious for getting dirt and grit under them (I did clean them after every ride, and use the toothpick trick etc, but they still started leaking).

So I bought some Enduro Seals from here:

http://www.enduroforkseals.com/

Think it cost me around $25 including postage from the USA (which took about a week).

I fitted the seals and gave the forks a basic service. If you are comfortable stripping and rebuilding your forks then it won't be a problem, otherwise you will probably need to get your LBS to do it.

I've used them for about 5 rides now, and after a few hours of bedding in (where they were a bit "sticky") they are now performing amazingly well. Even when I have put in new factory seals, they start to get gritty and leak after a few muddy rides. There hasn't been a single drop past the Enduros.

I can really recommend these, going to get some more for my 36's too! :)

I am with you on this.

If you are buying from eduro USA, they sell stancion lube, you cannot get this in the UK.

only £6 a bottle and it acts like instant bedding in.

when you get the seals, soak them in this overnight before fitting.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
