London to Brighton (off road)

Has anyone done this ? (And how long did it take)

I'm doing it in a couple of weeks with some friends who'll be on hybrids.

The BHF ride says that these will be fine but I read a Singletrack article which made me think otherwise.

    We are doing it again this year.
    Did it last year and it was excellent, about 6hrs if I remember.
    Hybrids should be ok, just less fun on some the technical stuff.

    Hybrids will be fine on the Downs link part but might struggle near the end on the SDW

    Was this oin this months singletrack, i too am doing this and welcome any info onthe route etc.

    I'm doing this as well. Trying to rope in a few mates but selling a 75 mile route to them isn't proving as easy as I expected !!
