ax3 domaines 2010

Im off to the pyrenees this year and will be there while the tour passes through- I can get to the ax3 domaines stage ( 3 hours drive) and wanted to get there early enough so I could ride the final climb to get a decent spot to watch them knocking seven shades out of each other.

Any idea whhen I can expect these roads to be closed - 184 km stage so Im guessing mid morning but did worry it might be the day before?
Anyone in the know?

    Lol at your name and the question. Ironic much?

    As I see it you should start the climb quite early in the morning in time to enjoy getting up and not worrying about the roads being closed.

    yeah its a throw back from my uni days when despite being lighter and fitter and therefore much much quicker I never enjoyed climbs unless I was in a group that I could hurt!
    Ive developed an appreaciation for them now,... 103rd up shcelahhaliion in the etape so all good- however I expect Ax3 to be a slightly more measured affair
